They de-bunked this on mythbusters. It wouldn't work, and if it did, it you would break your back/neck. Something about pressure ratios to mass.

yeah i saw that mythbusters....but, watch the guy, he somehow could swim a little bit towards the boat before the video ends... i think he was perfectly fine, but it seems to me that the one in the video is made better than the one from mythbusters...

i dont think u can phsyically survive that, he fell like 50-75 feet at the end, i knmow it shows him swimming but its a video and its most lilkly edited. If he dived he could survived but a straight down bellf flop? OUCH waters surface tension is just as hard as concrete, i now ive done a belly flop from like 15 feet and i could barly breath let alone swim 100 feet back, i just odnt see it happeing to a survivalbe outcome.

yeah, realisticly, he prolly wouldnt have been able to survive that fall and swim back. . . The higher you fall from, the harder the water is.

ive seen someone fall off of a bridge, close to as high up as the golden gate...he was stupid, went feet first, tightened legs, and somehow lives without any leg injuries.
