I have a problem one that requires the expertice of an owner of a western arms pistol.

Look inside the chamber from the top. Looking at the nozzle, see if the floating nozzle still bounces. It might be possible that the spring that regulates the floating valve - in turn - regulating the gas flow to the BB is blocked - creating only the blow back.
Based on what I saw today it looks like the former, the slide blows back ,the bbs are not fired till I pull the trigger again, bb rolls out and it still results in a jam.

I figure that you have yet to look at the floating valve?
WAs the bb is shot first.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
you may need to spray some lube on the piston( area @ rear/ inside of slide) it may be dry.
I'll try that, anybody else have an idea of what the problem would be?

anyone one else?

Tried what wild turkey suggested, no effect. The bb loads fine, but it seems that its weak fireing, rolling out of the barrel.Looks like I am out of my league on this can't tell if its a problem with the floating valve, can't see a problem.

Looked at it again, I loaded one bb and gassed the mag, pulled the trigger and the slide blew back but no shot, pulled the trigger again and the pistol weak fired bbs rolled out.

Can't tell, the pistol is badly weak firing.During the test I dry fired it a couple of times, blow back but no force out of the barrel? What the hell is going on?

To begin with, do you know what part #83 is? If not, look inside your WA manual and refer to that.
I will look at it when I get home just to make sure,I don't think it was springy it was rigid and spun. BTW, no I am not selling going it,hahha.

just wanted to update again, the part talked about by d80 appears to be the problem, as stated in the post earlier the part has no play what so ever, it stuck in place.

it was not moveable at all, I did try to push it back, I will try that again this evening

damn didn't work, floating valve doesn't move at all,I must be cursed or something

Well, you know the problem now. You'll just have to figure out how to take the blowback mechanism apart.
any seggestions, on how to do that?

Don't break anything - do it carefully - read the manual.
D...that was hella funny...after all that explaining......."I'll buy it for $40.00"......LOL..LOL.
I am looking through it and I see all the part numbers but no guide to take the blow back mechnism out from the slide.

With a dash of patience, an ounce of effort, and a cup of google:
Thanks Dennis,I just did it to the one with the broken slide perfect, the new one is gonna be a pain however.

finished with one of the slides, looks like it needs a new floating valve and maybe a new loading nozzle, spring on the floating valve doesn't move.
