Question about the Super 9
I am a noob to the role of a sniper, and I need a new gun. (I gave up airsoft a few years back and now I am picking up the sport again) There is currently a UHC Super 9 Airsoft Rifle that I can buy for 80 dollars. Is this gun any good? If it isnt, is there another gun I could use as a sniper in that price range?
Buy the USR-11. a copy of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10. with minor modification you gan get it shooting about 410fsp
how much would the USR-11 cost me? And what about the upgrades?

get a Maruzen APS2 SV or EX or a Maruzen Type 96, all kick ass, just stick in a m150 and ur good to go

most people are fasinated with sniping, alot of people thing its counterstrike....its not...if u want to be a sniper u have to spend money or els u wont experiance the art of sniping. its not just taking long range shots, its also recon, scouting. most of the time u dont even get to go through one full mag,because u never really get to the point of shooting someone, ur usually to far away. and cant take ur shot...if u wantt o buy a super9 be my guest...go waste ur money

Well now with a tad bit of research, I am now looking into a USR-11. Hopfully this will be a higher quality rifle than the super 9.

as head shot said sniping is an art i guesse, the only real good snipers at sacair games are Snoopy, Viper, and daggar. But ya most of the time i see some kid come out to a game ONCE with a 600$ sniper rifle and they think they are gona own everyone and they never get a shot off and then the next day its posted for sale. BUt ya buya super 9 ive seen them at games they suck, big time but hey it gets the job done i guesse. Hope the rant helped.

all airsoft guns are the same, they lob BB's with the help of a cylinder similar to a bike pump.
How does the USR-11 perform? From what I have found, it shoots at a much lower speed out of the box, but I have read reviews stating that it is reliable and cheap and can be upgraded relatively easily.

ok, so like many have said before, you get what you pay for. That USR 11 will serve you well on a street battle in one of your friends neighborhoods just like the uhc super nine. but if you want something that will hold up and do good in sacair games, you'll have to spend money. My friend has a super nine, and i've had a UTG and they arent up to sacair standards.

On a somewaht side note a good place to get the USR-11 is at
while youre there, order a laylax m130 spring. remove the realshock weights, and lube everything up you should be shooting aroung 460fps without spending over $150
thank you. . . i agree picoy. if you're gonna go sniping at sacair get a Type 96, M24, SVD or APS2. Something of that sort. The best to upgrade and the coolest looking.

Augustus is the USR crap because thats not what you guys were saying, just wondering i was under the impression that the VSR and the USR were basically the same, even with quality
the same thought proccess went in to the UTG line VS the TM line when the mp5s came out, they just arnt that good, but ive used the usr upgraded to 550fps and it wasnt a bad beginner snipper.
