Ive got a weird scenario. I logon and put a check in the "remember my logon" box. Then I surf around/post for awhile on the site. I let it sit for 3 or 5 minutes and try to post or check my PMs and it asks me to logon again. Ive delete my cookies and temp files a number of times and reloaded my browser IE 6.0.2900. Nothing seems to fix this. Im not using any cookie filtering programs, so im sure its not that. Ive even added sacair to the IE list of allowed sites for cookie handling exceptions. Im stumped. Any ideas?

It happens to me, too -- it logs you out after a certain time of idleness and won't let you log back in for some reason.

Some people experience this and its and unfortunate problem with the forum software and the CMS mixing cookies and killing cookies for some reason. The most common problem is remember just doesn't work it usually keeps you logged in for your session tough.
At least you know its happening. Thing I cant understand is at my job, our intranet has a phpBB forum too, and I never have this problem with it. Maybe the amount of traffic has an impact.

Just an fyi, none of the forums I use or manage have this problem that I know of, they are all phpbb also.

It's not just a phpBB problem its phpBB with Joomla in with the phpBB joomla bridge (connects the users together and logs you onto both phpbb and the joomla CMS).
i just log out then relog befor i press home.
