**Forgive me if this is a repeat of a former post, I did a search, and found nothing. **

Krylon Ultraflat OD. also, make sure you clean everything really well or maybe even go over it with some 300grit sandpaper.

um cheap spray paint from local hardware store and dont worry about blending in you should paint it hot pink and purple that'd be hot, i'd totally play with that, kinda like that post from some guy holding a ping hello kitty xm8, lmao

I am an airbrusher, and this will only have an effect on the quality of paintjob, not durability. If airbrushing, you still need to use a good paint, and possibly a clear coat to help protect. Or use an enamel based paint, but don't plan on getting that off. If you do a nice paint job with an airbrush, but don't use the right paint, it will actually be worse. A can of Krylon will actually do better than an airbrush with sh@#t paint. I have painted a few guns with Krylon, and with enough coats, and good thin coats, it will not come off on your hands. My Krylon paint jobs hold up really well. It also depends on the type of plastic/metal you are painting on.

when i said to use an airbrush i was actually suggesting so more along the lines that you'd get much better detailing than if you use a spray can...a spray can is not nearly as versatile (sp?) as an airbrush.

Of course the paint job will come out much cleaner and more detailed, just not more durable, unless using the right paint/coat combo.

Spray paints at military stores will work, they usually have a big color variety. But Krylon is best IMO.

I've posted this elsewhere, but this looks like a great place for the link to live:
