Purchasing forward grip online

Jul 10, 2006 1:11pm
Is it legal to order a forward grip like the surefire M900 or Rico Alpha 9 Tac light online in CA? I made an order for one and recieved a message from the seller that it is illegal to purchase one online or via mail order. Does anyone know if this is correct?

That seller is full of BS. Dont bother with that company and go order from someone else.

Just like CheaperThanDirt -- If you look in their magazine at the Restrictions, there's like a whole 5-lined paragraph on what they won't ship to CA -- half of the stuff isn't actually illegal to ship to CA! Its insane!
More like 1 or 2 items. And I've heard they wont ship ammo anymore into CA.
Yeah, I guess it is more like 1 or 2 items. It seems like they used to be worse -- then again, I might be thinking of a different store (or combining two stores' no-ship lists in my head). I donno.
