Silencers: useful or worthless?
Usefull for looks, not as much for actual suppression, there more for the "I have a silencer effect" in my opinion.
i myself would never buy a silencer i think they are only for looks, you cant really quiet the booming of a AEG gearbox.Silencer are a waste of money better spent on some upgrade for your gun

I think it would be retarded to put a working silencer on an AEG, but on a Gasser, its worth it.

You are incorrect. Silencers ARE effective. They reduce the report that comes out of the muzzle. Muffles the *pop* of the piston slap.

Yeah, except the gearboxes usually tend to whine a little. i wouldent put one on.

I agree with Andrew, there is a definite change in noise espeically if your on the business end.

is it a foam filled silencer??? or is it just all plastic??

thats why, get a foamed silencer, and it will make a difference. it may not sound like a difference to you with your ear right next to the gun, but from a distance, you dont hear that noise as much. you hear more of the muzzle blast. put on a silencer, and listen to it from a distance. it makes a difference

Silencers are useful. Add that to an already quiet P90 and you won't know what's coming.

Listen to those with more experience than you, you may learn something new. Foam-filled silencers do work, especially for AEGs and NBBS.
