so you want an outer barrel that will let you change your flashider while it (the barrel) is on?

unscrew old flashhider and screw on new flashhider.

well i have a certain flash-hider that i want to put on........
Jul 14, 2006 4:08am
take off the handguard, and under the flashider there should be a little allen screw. take that out, and it will unscrew.
Jul 14, 2006 4:23am
im not seeing that........i cant find any seam where it would screw either

well if you dont care about the current flashhider and want to replace it why the hell dont you just use a wrench and get it off, i wouldnt think its that hard to deduce
Jul 14, 2006 6:01am
I would advise against wrenching. The last time I wrenched something on my barrel, I ended up with a nice zig-zag pattern cut into the black finish, making it ULTRA-visible. Had to cover it up with a sling-swivel.
Jul 14, 2006 6:04am
put some cloth over it
Jul 14, 2006 10:51pm
ok, so i took it to aex today....andrew tries some wrenches, calles somebody. we find out that the flash-hider is glued on to the outer barrel. i was told to heat it up with a torch, grab the barrel with a rubber gripped vice and then turn the flash hider. the only problem is i lack the tools to do this......if anybody has these tools that i could use please pm me (or maybe take them to aex and drop them off b4 thursday)
