so guys i got this classic army m15a4 and before i can even empty a high cap, the gun just sorta locks up on me...like i pull the trigger, and it makes some kinda noise...but the gearbox dosnt do anything...

well.... after a lil bit if i leave it alone...it starts to shoot again...and yes...sadly it is used :(....and no i myself have not messed with the internals)

Same thing happened with mine.Do you know if its stock?Im betting its the motor,but when we(AKA Ryan) opened mine we found out that the gearbox was in peices,dont know if that would have anything to do with it though....

lol that happened to me a while back , the screw holding to moter head cam lose and so did the motor head making the motor spinning , but not the haed or gears thus making it seem like nothing happend and then the head will fall back into place and you will start shooting , thus repeating the process , take it to AEX , should be a 5 miniut fix if you can't do it yourself... (at least this is what happened to me and the effects on my gun were the same too so i am guessing this is the problem..

well one Spence the pinion gear oh his motor kept coming lose and going inside the gear box, a new motor fixed that the broken gear box me and Andrew fixed that. Id say check you batt, if its not charged then thats why. Other than that i would need to hear it to tell you waht wrong, take it to AEX and they can tell you. Or pm Andrew for help.

if the battery isnt hold ing a charge very well that could be the problem or it could be low, or you may have some sort of wiring problem(is there any popping or crackling noise when the trigger is pulled?)
