Bearing or Oilless Bushings?

Jul 17, 2006 9:10am
As the topic suggests, I'm curious as to which is better for pulling an M120S in a Ver. 3 gearbox or in any gearbox in general. I'm looking to replace my current ones but I'm not sure which to get. Which do you swear by? Why?

Bearings can make gears spin much smoother, etc.. but I've always had more noise come from them than oiless bushings. I prefer the tight fit of the bushings, instead of the loose fitting on some bearings that I've come across. In addition, you wouldn't have to worry about the bushings busting out due to stress - despite what some may say about m120 springs being safe for bearing use.

I think quality control is universally going down.

Don't listen to those fools who think Guarder can't pass lemons. Everyone does since noone is perfect!! These are toys and they're in it for maximum profit. Some of Guarder's recent stuff have been some what dissapointing. Their black hop-up rubber sucks donkey nuts. So does their plastic hop-up chamber. I wasn't too impressed with their bushings either. Their gearsets are nothing to write home about either.
