propane works fine, just remeber to lube up your seals once in a while.

uhm. i dont know why anyone didn't tell you this but dont use propane if you have a Western Arms Pistol, it will break the slide.

damn and all this time I was using propane in my WA and wait...wait...no cracks. Should've also stated that I didn't use propane when temps reach over 80*F.

Airsoft Atlanta has them for approximately $20-$30.

Haven't cracked a slide using green or propane, although my current WA seems to need a new loading nozzle and floating valve, the other I creaked the slide cause I dropped it,my fault,or I guess i have bad luck with WAs.

well before i got my M1934 silencer model, i read a great review. and in the review it stated that he has gone about a year with greengas and propane, and it has never leaked, cracked, or anything...not sure why either. so, i use GG in my WA, it works great. but, if i used HFC134A stuff, i could probably get more shots out of one mag(mag holds 20 bb's, but only hold enough green gas to shoot about 15-17 at the most...i guess the gas is being put to use for the slide being pulled back and whatnot...)

After seeing this thread, I researched the Airsoft-Innovations adapter a little bit, and decided to get one. I just got the nozzle today in the mail and I went out and bought some $3.50/16.4oz propane tanks (disposable ones that you use for camp stoves). Adapter fits on perfectly. I just spray some silicon oil into the tank every 8 fills. The only thing I don't like is that this propane I bought ~STINKS~ ...seriously the smell is way worse than GreenGas.

As stated above, should you choose to use propane, make sure you lube your seals/o-rings regularly.

yeah, be sure to lube it up regularly, Stone. I learned that the hard way...

Airsoft Innovations says to drip some silicon oil into the tank every 8 mag fills. Are you guys saying I should do that and lube the valves in addition?

You should be lubing your VALVES every once in a while even if you're not running propane. The reason why Airsoft Innovations suggests you spray some silicone into the adapter is so that the propane mixes with the silicone to be more like green gas. Apparently, green gas is essentailly propane mixed with silicone.
