I got a new TM hi capa, and the mag falls out the bottom at random intervals. I took it buy AEX, andrew took a look at it and swapped the release for a new one. It still drops out if its in the holster and im running around. Would it be a good idea to swap the release spring for a stiffer one, as to put more pressure and have a more postive retention of the magazine?

If you are using a drop leg holster (as you have not mentioned what kind of holster) mags always fall out in a leg holster. I would just use electrical tape. Maybe a holster that doesn't push agains the mag release would be a help.

Answer to andrews question, yes intermittantly, seems like it will only do it when it fires. As for the holster, it is a drop leg. I real life, how does the mag stay in if the holster is constantly pushing against the mag release? Is it due to a stronger mechanism.
