CA G36K questions

Jul 20, 2006 10:05pm
I've done research online and looked at the g36 series guns from CA and they look pretty good. I read that the g36 guns are the best CA guns you can buy and i was wondering from your guys' personal experience how the G36K holds up internally.

TM G36c > CAG36c.

yeah. i read that it was really nice and easy to take out the battery on the CA? I dunno. I just really like the K style and dont feel like buying a TM C and making it into a K project.

Actually the plastic on the CA is far superior to TM.

I currently own a CA G36c, and LOVE IT. I'm the third owner of the gun. Ryan (rap117) having put roughtly 15,000 bbs though it. Then to Shawn, who put a unknown amount, and since January 2006, I've put nearly 20k though the gun, and no problems what so ever. Either Shawn tinkered with the internals ( the guy has golden hands when he touches guns) or its completely stock. I plan on doing some upgrading next paycheck, so I'll let you know how the inners are fairing. But so far, the little bastard is kicking ass and taking names.

Yeah. I really liked the M4 for a while and still do but I want something original. I'm gonna go with the K and keep it stock for as long as I need to before upgrading it. I've just heard that CA doesnt have very good motors and the selector switches get messed up a little. Lemme know about your upgrades though. I'm thinkin that when I buy it I'll get an eg1000 motor as well.

The motor I dunno. Since I have taken the fuse out of my G36, I might have tortured the poor dude a bit too much. Next week I'm gonna have AEX do a good run though of the gun, see what needs to be lubed or replaced. So far my gun is kicking ass one again.

Yeah. . . Is there anything you can do about the selector switch? Things start to get on my nerves after a while.

I say don't worry about it. You gotta realize my G36 has been pasted down from two others and has had nearly ( I guess) 75,000 rounds though it. I would say yours, if bought new, would be fine on the selection switch. My gun has seen its abuse. I had knocked out a window and a small light bulb with the folding stock. No damage to the gun, and it's still kicking ass.

From all the guns I have worked on, I'd say the G36 series is the WORST CA gun you can buy.
