Can someone help me with the removal of the outer barrel from the upper receiver??
i need to no the same thing, how did you do it?

After removeing the front sight and handguards, you pull back on the outer ring, then I used channel locks to GENTLY grip the rings that hold the rear of the handgaurds in place. Then you just twist counterclockwise. An easier way (and safer) would be to first remove the front site and front hand guard hold thats attached to the sight. then with the handguards still in place on the delta ring, use the handguards to twist counterclockwise. This is what worked for me.
