I am curious.... Is it semi only being used as a sniper rifle, or is he flying under the radar with a hot gun?

well see andrew the thermal expansion comes into play when the barrels obverse manifold contipulation and exothermic abridgement unit is presented extensive periods of inconclusive fire thus the altitudinous and decumbent temperatures cause an augmentation to the barrel diameter THUS SO causing the bullets trailing edge to suffer a dynamic insurrection, reducing inherant precision of the rifle.

If you have a TM it shouldn't take much. I know a guy thats pushing about 495-500fps on an m14. All he has are metal bushings and upgraded spring.

I'd like to talk more about the guy using a 495 fps aeg at "many sacair events"...

I understand and know what you're talking about. I've been playing with battery size and voltage in airsoft guns since I got into it many moons ago.

Actually any chance you get to listen to Ray talk about airsoft guns and tuning you should listen. The guy is a master I sh** you not...
Jul 25, 2006 7:26am
I believe you Erin, and I dont mean to sound like an a$$hole or anything, but Ken knows his sh!t too. I think he built a water-to-hydrogen machine for the 4th grade science fair. Not that that has anything to do with electronics, Im just saying that when woodencow states something, its backed up with personal experience.

You cannot state that:

They all look like masters too me. How do you guys know all this? Research? Years of airsoft? How will four surefire batteries work in a gun with an m150 spring? I DONNO! Thats crazy! Whats that mean! I am guessing the m150 spring is not powerful enough to support four Surefire batts?
Yeah, the newer games this year are more focussed on scenarios (which havent really gone off that smoothly from the ones Ive been to) rather than the rules. Back when I first joined, Neouser would have everyone gather round and explain the rules and safety procedures, then would chrono and tag ppl's guns. And then we would just go and play a few random games like "Ambush" or CTF, not a long scenario that doesnt even work and is closed-ended.
I have only added bushings and a sp100 to mine and it's shooting about 390fps consistantly, I recently crono'd it after I converted it to an EBR.

Why in the hell would you run a fricken gun way too hot gun? You might as well get a f ucking sighn over your head that reads " I have no skills and I could care less about the guys I am playing with." To hell with safety then, right? I mean screw it let's just all buy Gas sniper rifles and with .34's play cqb on 100 degree days. " We could do it for the realism , Man!" What a fricken joke.
My 100, after going thru 5,000 rounds, dropped from 392 to 378, then to 350 even after another 5,000 rounds
