Installling and Shimming Bearing Bushings

So I've decided to try out some CA 7mm bearings in my CA gearbox. Usually oilless bushings are lodged into the gearbox very tightly and don't budge, but freely rotate around the gears. While installing my bearings, the bearings were very loose around the gearbox, and EXTREMELY tight around the gears. Is this normal? Or should it be vice versa similar to that of oilless or even loose around the gearbox and the gears. Also, in terms of shimming, should it be shimmed the same way one would shim with oilless bushings?

The axles on the gears should be snug of the inner bearing sleeve, as well on the outside sleeve against the gearbox holes. If the entire bearing bushings is moving a lot, it's possible that it will wear faster. It's a common thing with some bearings and that is why I personaly prefer metal/poly bushings over bearings.

Oh I see. Thanks. However, how snug around the axle should it be? Because i had to pretty much hammer my bearings onto the axles by tapping it. The axle can definitely not rotate inside the inner bearing. Is this normal at all?

What kind of gears do you have?

I'm running stock CA gears, using CA bearings. I would think they would fit perfectly, but they seem way too tight.
