Hello everyone. I have notice an increase amount of cmags/drum mags out there in the field. I just wanted your opinion as well as your personal experiences as far as the pros and cons. Are they worth it? I've even seen AKs with drum mags which look pretty cool!! Thanks.

I like drum mags, but to me they arent all that practical and just give you justification to waste BBs. Now, if your gun's and RPK or a SAW, then it looks pretty badass.
my top drum mag kicks ass, but i have heard peeps having probs with them. DRum mags are great if you just want to shoot and not change mags, which I like. But I know alot of guys are into the 30 rnds and changing mags thing, which is cool too. I like the idea of changing mags that is fun. Just depends on what you are after. Do not believe what they say about high caps being noisy, sure if you jump up and down they will rattle but if you are quiet so are they, it is the player. I carry 10 high caps and for the most part I am very quiet. Remember it is just a game where you are spitting little plastic bb's at each other nothing more. So if want to hose down a field with bb's get the drum mag. If you are into tactical reloads get mid or low caps.

ya in San Diego, the movment is to ban high caps, and limit drum mags to support weapons only. And thoes are highly limited at games. MAG midcaps are selling like hot cakes at AEX in SD or so I am told
I got a C-mag for my G36 Love the lil bastard.
I like high caps too, they make more sense than limiting your self to ammo, but then again I am not into the whole "realism" thing.

Thanks guys for all your inputs. It sounds like there pros & cons to having drum/cmags. I was looking at two different ones for my TMG3-SG1 rifle. One that is operated with a 9volt battery, or the other cmag with the wheel (for winding).
