Ok. . . So I wanna know, which m14 is better? Well not better but what are the pros and cons of each. And is the newer g&g m14 reliable unlike other g&g products?
I have a couple of G&G rifles myself. A lot of people say that G&G products arent as reliable as others but I havent experience that. I have the G&G soc. 16 and so far, it hasnt disappointed me. For a shorter barrel, it is a heavy rifle though. I have fired at least 14,000 bbs and I havent had any problems. I had the internals upgraded (level I upgrade) plus a tight bore. I'm only using an 8.4 battery. If you have fired or seen the real m14s, the G&G m14s are quite close to it with all the details & specs. I would suggest to test both TM and G&G m14s and feel which one you like best. The G&G is a little more specially once you get it upgraded while the TM m14 is only $360. Just my opinion.

Good reply Sgt. I agree with the quality of the G&G m14 vs. the TM m14. TM m14s are lighter. Your G&G m14 shoots 390 stock? Before I upgraded mine, it was around 350-360 FPS. Or was that someone else's post?

Nope, that is my previous post. And, yes, my G&G shoots around 390--NO upgrades. I got it from AEX (Oakland) and took it out of the box and chrono'd it right there. G&G is my personal choice on the M14 issue.
