Yes they CAN havea greater ROF it depnds what battery, gears, spring, how the shimming is and what not, i can turn a m16 iinto a saw with the same effect, but dont forget SAW well the ones with the PGC gear boxs have fast changing spring and pistons are easy to replace, but rmeebr no matter what saw u get expcet to spends LOTS on them. I had one i liked it, i sold it afdter i spent 300$ in ammo in one month on it.

well think bout it, the bog max hold 2500 rnds, my saw shot alot of RPS, i went threw 3 box mags a day ATLEAST but i also use the point and click method of aiming, i also went threw a few pistons. SAWs are not for the casual player, they require LOTS of TLC and money.

DUDE I HAVE A SAW THAT I UPGRADED TO 440 FPS AND IT OS A BEAST. I GET SO MUCH RANGE OUT OF IT THAT IT'S REDICULOUS.

SAWs are nice to have (if you could afford buying one). As to using a lot of bbs, well that is all up to you. Yes its only a full auto, but you don't have to be "Rambo" on every game. If you are use to using it all the time, then you should be able to judge how far those bbs could go and how tight your shots are.
