hi guys i need help on what to do with my G3. I pretty much just got it. It has been having problems, right after I load the magazine and then put it on semi auto it jams. and to unjam it i have to put it on full auto for it to shoot properly what should I do. I have the option of returning it. but should that be a last resort. I need your help.

is the battery properly charged? could be a bad tappet plate too

No the battery was fully charged.

what kind of battery is it? 8.4v 1700mah, 600mah, it sound like you gun is either cycling too fast or not fast enough. meaning the piston is sticking in the back position rather than returning foreward. when you shoot semi auto, make sure that you have nice long trigger pulls and the gun has time to fully cycle the piston.

The battery is an 8.4v 1500 mah it cycles way fast

that shouldnt be the issue my g3 has 6.6 3300 mah and when it was stock it worked fine. When u say the gun jams, what jams on it, the bb? or the internals them selves?

when you shoot semi auto, are you just taping the trigger or are you giving it a complete pull

your doing fine Augie, i ussaly post drunk and i can help peeps out even then. If your just tapping the tirgger it may be bindding the spring, make sure u reall pull on it.

I pull the trigger to the max and it jams nothing comes out the barrel

just take it back, something isnt meshing right or somthing, dont try to fix it or else u may void the warrenty.

Ya i'm taking it back, what kind of gun would you reccomend. I'm looking for a gun thats accurate durable and has a good distance. Somthings thats good for sharpshooting and dosn't have barrel wobble like the M16A2.

g3 sg1, m16, m14, g36k, AUG, AK47 (none beta version) i say go for one of those, iv turned my g3 sg1 into a LMG so i dont really aim with it. I love my AUG great range. No wobble at all, very heavy though.

I really like the AK-47.Long barrel,so it's more accurate for longer shots.The sg-1.I dont know,it has more plastic than Pamela Anderson..

i love m14s. they pwn m16a2s.

AUG i got rid of my m4 and went only AUG great choice i feal, no wobble, bull pup barrel efficent v3 gear box

does it have a longer innerbarrel I mean i dont want a long outer barrel is at least a mid sized gun. I want be able to get through a door with it lol.

the aug has the same inner barrel length as the m16a2 i belive

If you have the money,get a TM m14..I love those guns
