hmm. Id like a hat better, I have too many novelty shirts already. The red/white/blue scheme on a hat would look good to me (or on me).

The profits would go to Steve and the site.

thatd look killer on a black tshirt!!!

This can be the back, or front shirt. If the back, a small graphic on the left chest would suffice.

it seems like coyote tan would be the color that would fit the most camo patterns, such as WC, DCU, ABU, ACU and multicam.

dam dude tha tlooks nice.
Aug 14, 2006 7:18am
The design is universal..
Aug 14, 2006 8:33am
i like that hat :D
Aug 14, 2006 12:04pm
pretty sure that you have to ask to use the marpat and ACU pattern as the are held by the united states military...

I'll work on a design tonight...don't have enough time this morning to do it ( work ) and I got better software on this system ( photoshop CS 2)

I like D80s design. Is everyone that plans on making a design going to post here for a vote or foreward to the admins and have them decide?

Eric....one neat idea is to have a team or squad of 4 standing upright in a firing stance or "ready" stance with full multicam gear on or any other fully decked out load-out on. Have the 4 volunteers stand in a location where the best suitable photos can be taken and then when finished with the photos, use the outline of the 4 operators and the outline of either a CQB/CQC type background or woodland background as the graphics for the print image for the hats and shirts..etc. THE WOODLAND BACKGROUND WOUL DNOT NECESSARILY BE IN WOODLAND COLOR AND THE COLORS ON THE 4 OPERATORS WOULD NOT NECESSARILY BE MULICAM ON THE ACTUAL PRINT ON THE SHIRTS AND HATS, BUT MORE LIKELY A SOLID COLOR PATTERN..LIKE OD AND BLACK...BLACK ON GREY...ETC...ETC. THE BACKGROUND, SUCH AS A BUILDING THAT THEY ARE STANDING NEXT TO, CAN BE OTHER SOLID COLORS, AS WELL, SO THAT THE PATTERN IS EASY TO IDENTIFY WHEN WEARING THE ITEMS!

I just saw D's design and that is very close to what I'm talking about...now just add 3 more operators in different stances and open up the window so that the entire bodiies are showing with the outlines of hteir gear..etc and presto!.......you have an awesome Sac Air representation!
Aug 14, 2006 5:54pm
Also..that desert tan with the black image looks great....but we could also make the hats in OD and black. They would look very nice!
Aug 14, 2006 6:25pm
Something close to this, but without the gas masks and breaching tools in exchange for gear that would resemble more of what we use in everybody's airsoft load-outs

IT looks like we will probally go with d80's desighn. Just waiting to here from Steve. When we do then we will get these bad boys made up and sold, not for alot it really isn't for profit but it would be good to put some cash into the site and Steve for all the time he puts in to this thing. I have mr credit card ready to order.

Aug 15, 2006 4:46am
So that's it?
Aug 15, 2006 5:12am
i love D80's design, as well as Zack's. they are both nice. i might get the hat from D80's design, and a shirt from Zack with the "pound it" guys. :D
Aug 15, 2006 5:29am
i like d80s designs. I think the best base colors for shirts would be black, tan, cb, and od.

Steve is right I do want to get the ball rolling. D80's is sweet and so is Zach's, what else is out there? I would like to see some other desighns. A time limit should be put in place though. How about till the end of the first week of September. That is around 3 weeks.

Ya know, I just did patch designs for another club and found a vendor that wouldl sew them for free, (just shipping) and now I see this thread...
Every day above ground is a good day.

I think sgt_muller has a good idea with the patches. They would be very versatile. Most of us have velcro on our tac vests for patches, and AEX offers a nice hat that has velcro for a patch:
