KWA Glock 19, buy a HurricanE upgrade kit for it, upgraded recoil guiderod and spring, and hammer spring, plus highflowvalves. Super easy to clean and repair, rock solid and reliable, pretty cheap. New, $100-120 for the gun and $35 for the kit.

Lol, yes you could have. But now you get by with something fancier, each to his own!

First you must decide what type of operation you want, and how much you budget will be. Nobody here can REALLY help you much if you don't specify those two things. All this stuff about holding every pistol at AEX all comes down to FIRST, can you throw down the cash for a decent pistol? because that's what they carry...

I suggest the new TM 1911, I just recently did some work on one and the O-ring on the rocket port has been replaced with a superior cupped ring seal that expands under pressure to seal the chamber untill the loading/air nozzle has cycled forward. Its techical yes, but trust me the new design is better and the thing shoots excellent. I will be sad to see it go back to its owner but I am sure he will let me shoot it from time to time.

hey Stink, how's the power on the 1911? I heard they had to take it down from 1J to .8Js because of new power laws in japan. Is this true?

I cronoed the TM1911a1 at 295fps with .25 excell bio after working on it, but it had excess silicon grease in it so it will likely pick up a few fps after that clears out. Seems to hit hard just like my Hi-capa which cronos at 300fps+ stock with .25 excell. I am sure of the numbers on the 1911 that was 2 days ago, but the hi-capa I havent cronoed in a while and could be mistaken.

hey guys- not to thread jack here, but...what's the deal with crono-ing a gbb? I mean...it will get lower with every shot. So, that's why I never bothered to chrono my 1911.

not true really. The power stays about the same (the decrease is negligible) until the last few shots, when gas starts to run out.
Aug 18, 2006 6:59pm
absolutly not true, the valve lets a bit of gas out at a time. sure if you fire off your whole clip the thing will get cold and loose pressure. but if you are firing an IPSA practical shooting course, or playing airsoft, your fps will vary up and down just like an AEG. I use two mags in airsoft combat and switch quickly after 8-10 shots (if situation allows) so they have a chance to warm up. Same with practical shooting.
What would Brock do?
Aug 18, 2006 7:18pm
yes, I know about cool down. But Muller was saying that as the is less and less gas in the mag, the fps and range goes down, and I was saying that the difference because of that is marginal

I agree with you Chase.
