Ok well ive heard alot about how bad the internals are in the G&G M14, But what exactly would you say i would have to replace to make it just as good as a tm or better ofcourse. I would just redo the whole gun but im on a $$ limit. So what would you say i should replace the most?

This is a much answered question. The merits of TM vs G&G are akin to CA vs TM.

Thank muller for the info! I just heard from alot of people to stay away from them but i never saw why they were so bad. But still if you had to chose what to upgrade besides the spring, what would you change in the G&G M14?

im glad to hear that the second gen's are good. i loved my first gen (if it didnt have that stupid trigger problem) and i wanna get another pretty soon. good luck cky, hopefully youll love the m14 just like the rest of us

Replace the gears and piston/piston head. Thats what is wrong with them.

Same idiots at NASA and SCCA that made a highly successful and popular race series. But what do they know about car potential?

I am very happy with my G&G M14. Bought it used from Andrew. Yes as everyone has mentioned the version 1 has its problems, but get a durability upgrade and problem solved. Feels so solid.

I have the G&G soc. 16 and I had new wiring and piston replaced along with an upgraded spring and gears. Currently shooting at 410 FPS and never had any problems.
