Is it possible to have a high ROF while also having a 375- 400 fps without causing problems or having durability issues. If its possible what is the best way to go about it. I have heard that a higher volt battery will increase the ROF of a gun but is there more than that to do? Sorry for the lame questions Im kinda new to this whole thing.
m100 + high speed motor + high speed gears + 9.6v or lipoly. you will sacrifice rof for fps.

i would choose FPS, just because u get more range...and i like range . it also depends what kind of position u want to play on the field, DM, QC, Rifleman, Supp. if u play alot of CQB and run around. then go with rof, if u like to move around slightly and take ur shots from a farther distance than go with FPS. i have an AEG and Sniper Rifle,so i have best of both worlds.
you can pay for school but you cant buy class
what gun is going into? U can get both, an m100 will get u around 360-370 fps if u have good compresion, i higher voltage battery will increase your rof but there are otehr ways to. High speed gear for example, and high speed motors plus a 9.6 batt = dam nice rof, that what i have in my mg3 and it spews em out. an m120 will work too but u may go through gear boxs faster lol.
Im collecting info for a CQB gun project. I'll be using a CA or TM M4
375-400fps w/.20g bbs and CQB don't mix.
You basically answered your own question by saying you were building a cqb gun. At close quarters you really don't need the range and should therefore go fo rof. BTW just my 2 cents but don't buy CA. All my custom guns start of as Tm.

I run with an m100 spring with systema high speed gears and system torque up motor, powered by a 9.6v 3600mh. It shoots 350-355 with .25's and a great rof.

not to start a flame war or mess up the thread but HOW DO YOU THINK ROF IS MORE IMPORTANT? Doesnt Fps give you range, speed and power? ROF is just a fast firing rate! I would much rathwer be able to kill my target in a few well-aimed shots with a good gun then a good gun with like a bunch of wasted ammo shots because I spray my high ROF. Not tryin to be rude but maybe I am missing sumthing. Please tell me why?
Im already here so somebody's gotta die....
If someones gun has a really long wind up time, I can hear it and go for cover before their BB even gets close.
Not to flame anyone, but I think everyone likes to say they take out their target with a few well placed shots (It's kinda like a lot folks saying that they're the best sniper...). In reality in airsoft a few brief trigger burst works well for most folks.

true about the 375-400 fps for a cqb gun. That slipped my mind. I've worked 34 hours in the last 48 so im a bit tired, my bad. Thanks for all the info.
