Customs won't charge you money. Just be careful when ordering a gun, because its not unusual to recieve one with covered trades/stripped flashhider, etc.

Customs will charge you only if you make a wholesale order. Some HK distributors offer a "wholesale" cost if you order over $1000 worth of stuff. But theat when you get hit with Customs fees. As long as the orders are small, there aren't any Duties levied.

Random inspections WILL be made. Do not assume that if it's a small order it will not get charged. If the pacakge is inspected, customs will impose a charge on the carrier (ie: UPS, DHL, TNT) and the carrier will forward that bill to you based on the invoice on the package. That is why they ask if you how much you want them to skew the total cost (100%, 75%, etc) if in the event of an inspection. Also keep in mind if customs do not believe that the invoice reflect the true value of the items, they may send it back.
