Ok so I am interested in this. I like the idea of a kick ass, hispanic male G.I. wiping out nests of nazi pansies ( somethng I never see in the movies, thank you very much!). But have no idea on where to get the old gear or replicas. I would like to get a basic uniform together and of course a thompson with a drum mag!

talon you havent fully grasped erik yet.... he may get a correct uniform but he still will need the drum mag.... its the guys style come on you cant drop your style and learn to AIM like NORMAL people... hahahha
The only "homework" I can really find to base my WWII gear plans off of is Band of Brothers and/or Saving Private Ryan.

I thought I'd never say this but, Saving Ryans Privates and Band O' Bro's is a pretty safe bet for the basic stuff. Expect to shell out 4 to 5 hundred bucks easily, not including the weapon. WWII stuff, especially the repro stuff, is pricey.

Here's my semi-complete list of stuff that I, personally, am looking into getting. If any person finds a flaw in my setup that I didn't find/see, please let me know! Also, the websites mentioned aren't necessarily the cheapest stores around. They're just what I found in my pwnzor Google skillz. This would be an Airborne-style Thompson Gunner setup. Hopefully some of these links will help people find the gear they're looking for. :)

The M-42 jump jacket and pants are good for any Normandy senario (with rigger reinforcements of course) unless we do 509th in N. Africa. After Normandy M-43 uniforms were used up till May 45. If your doing Airborne you'll want the rigger mods to the M-43 pants as well. These mods are different depending on what unit you are portraying. The airborne helmet is different than the leg one. Remember ANYTHING airborne specific will cost more.

im so fukin excited to see other guys getting into this. You guys rock and if you put in the effort to get gear/ guns I will work like a slave bitch to bring you the most badass airsoft games this area has seen.

http://www.jmurrayinc1944.com/www/M1C.htm Yeah, It's an M1 but it has some differences...I thought somebody was saying I was looking at the wrong helmet, but I'm not. It's gonna be a while before I have the correct helmet. I'm just going to use a less-expensive one I found in a magazine that is an M1, but it might not have the correct lining or straps.

Coolwater airsoft is a bunch of queers hence they all dress pretty and match all the time, most of them are simply adults that live at home still, when they arent doing airsoft stuff they like to play D&D and have circle jerks, they all voted for Jon Kerry and are democrats
