Which MP5SD to buy? (CA, ICS, or Airsoft Elite)
I really want an MP5SD (not sure fixed or retractable stock yet) with a metal body. I've read mixed reviews from people who owned the ICS MP5. The ICS has been upgraded (2006 model) with better features. The Airsoft Elite MP5s are ICS with upgrades.
well for looks and function, go for CA dont buy ICS. I would say buy a TM and put a CA SD front end on it, then metal body it, but its all up too you. Ont he full stock.collapsable stock it really comes down to battery size.
What he said really. You arent looking at good quality guns. Oh, and the CA MP5 SD's dont come with foam in the silencer. But the CA SD front end kits do. fyi

Escort.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
If I were you I would buy a:
Don't buy any of the MP5 SD's...period.

I would go for the New version Ca. The new hop up system seems to be pretty cool. plus they have cool trades on them as wells

I've never ever heard the opinion that ICS is better then CA... haven't owned either, but I have heard quite a few horror storries of ICS gun bodies cracking and what not. The one ICS MP5 I've had hands on experience with didn't have a semi auto anymore... I imagine a simple fix, but still, annoying.
Most of the postive reviews/opinions of the ICS/AE models are on arniesairsoft.
well ok i understand where your coming from with the whole metal body thing. If your dead set on a metal body take CA, i cant say this enough stay away from AE mp5s. They are garbage. I have seen 2 AE mp5s break in half from being dropped while my TM SD6 (which i think u should buy) wasnt even damged by a drop. So theres my .02 u can get whatever u want, its up to you.
I seem to be favoring CA at this point. Since I'm new to airsoft, I don't know if buying a TM and getting a metal CA front end will be a easy job to swap over. Nothing is set in stone at this time.
