Hey guys I gave Op_Subte... (Chris) moderator status in the Sac Events forum so he can edit and and to the Roster for Op Syria Mo-Fo. I'm going to be in Vegas until Sunday and will have limited access to my laptop, so I figured he could keep up with it.

No objection here, it's his baby really. The amount of thought he put into it is pretty impressive.

I guess but this guys is getting way out of control, I went on the site this morning and almost every post was his promoing this game ( i have my home page set for 20 posts too!)He went to almost every team page and the events page and asked to show to his game WTF? This guy is too over board. I pm'd him and asked him to lay low on it. I have to admit that the guy worries me. I am trying to give the guy a chance but I have a bad feeling about him. I really think we should keep this guy on a short leash and not give him too much lee way.

So the Op is over now and Op-S (that's my short hand name for him) is currently still a mod. Unless somebody feels otherwise I think it's a good idea to keep him at mod status to host games.

I think admins need some crack to loosen up :lol:

I think op-sub should stay a game admin but not host games. I feel that it is the site admins that should do that. Just like this last game. Good job John too by the way I heard you ran it well with the late start and the sniper hit, heard the kid bled pretty badly.

Good point Erik. When I take it into perspective he's good a helping make sure folks act right, but I think the overzealousness could cause problems. Thanks for pointing it out. I'm going to yank the mod status for now.

Did I hear any words about Chrono ? Nowadays, Chrono is hard to find in our games...

The gun was shooting 475 by the owner's admission, but a hot gun was not the issue. The engagement distance was too close for a sniper rifle. As I stated before, both parties handled the situation respectfully. This was an instance of an honest mistake. Chrono or not the incident still would have happened. I stand by the fact that the situation was handled, and no further action is needed. I would play against the player in question and not worry about a repeat.

Alright, just yanked Mod status from Op-S.
