580 fps!!!!!!!

how much grease are you putting in your cylinder (outside and inside).

just a thin coat of grease on the inside and out.

i doubt its shooting 580 with a Pss10 170. maybe a Pss2 170...

well im running a 170m and im getting around 530-50 junps around but no wear near 580 ........ but ya it might be pss2 spring.

trust me. chris at aex can vouch for me. he was right next to me when i chronoed it. i took about 25 shots and shot between 575 and 585. as for the laylax hop-up it is easier to get aeg hop bucking and a larger variety barrel at several stores and in many sizes.

i must have one of those rare cases where its just getting high FPS

what O-ring are you using for your piston?

well we are takin about the spring brand (pss2 and pss10 not the same springs) every fourm i read about vsr's the most i seen ppl put out with a pss10-170 is 568 but most guys are reporting about 540-50

the o-ring is the biggest factor in FPS...

the o-ring is from the bar-10 and it is a pss10 170 spring. A few of you saw my gun at the first night game after conner worked on it. It has almost no air loss if you put you finger on the inner barrel and dry fire it.

well i saw it i was the other guy with the vsr remember ???? but geez thats nuts with that fps you going to make it to any game soon ???

yep guys, the compression this gun gets is UNBELIEVABLE, i stuck my finger on the tip of the silencer and shot it, about 5 seconds later when i pulled my finger away there was a large "whoosh". Maybe it's the air seal chamber, that thing is really tight on the bucking...not completely sure though.

thanks for the post on the new sniper rules. I'll bring the gun to the game in its current condition with the 170 in it. I'll chrono it then change it out to the 150 spring for the game.

ok so bets are out on what it will chrono with the 150 spring in it.

Like it or not, thats the way its going to be. We admins discussed it in depth and unanimously found this to be the best way to manage high FPS rifles.
