so the famas has a spring decompression button on it. are you sappsoed to pres it before or after storing it?

you should decompress your spring before storing - usually by shooting a few times in semi. i know the psg1 had a spring release button but i'm not familiar w/the famas.

i didnt know about that botton it had a manual reset switch on the motor lol, but yes always a good idea to decompress your spring, if u dont they ten to lose FPS because the spring loses its compression. But its not always true. I pulled my tm m4 with an m120 out of my closest and it been there for about 4 month with a compressed spring. when i crond it it was still shootin 390 so...it depends.
i used to have a FAMAS. Basically if you fire on full auto, then press the button you will hear a small noise, thats the spring decompressing. If you fire in semi auto a few times, then press the button you don't hear a noise. Seeing as how shooting 3 or so time on semi auto decompresses most AEG's i figured thats what the button did.
