G36 Star or CA?

Sep 17, 2006 3:12am
All right, I am posting this up for a friend who wants to know if he should buy a Star G36 or CA G36. He was just wondering what you all thought and what problems he should look out for.

but Classic Armies have the best bodies. And overall I must say, they have the sickest and a really tight name going there. Classic Army. That is tight.
Im already here so somebody's gotta die....

From a distance you probably couldn't tell a difference between the Star and CA. But upclose you can, both have nicely molded bodies with the major difference between the 2 being the shade of black and the fact that Star has HK markings while CA does not. The optics on the CA has a slightly better eye relief then the Star but neither one stands out over the other.

well, the i would personaly go with the TM with the star kit on it. but if you want a gun thats just like you want it, out of the box, no kits to buy, then go with the CA. but its all YOUR oppinion.

does anyone near the fair oaks area own a star g36? i am looking to physically compare it to my ca g36.

The STAR one has a much better body construction, yet not quite as good as TM's. It's still very good. (the foregrip tends to be a bit on the large side as it's a bit wider from what I've observed).

I have shot a CA G36 and there was a lag from when you pull the trigger and when it shoots i dont know if stars are this way but it was a major reason I didnt buy it.

you could only be sure of that if both were using the same volt and amp battery.

asking for a full metal g36 carrying handle is like asking for a full metal receiver for the g36. Ain't gonna happen because the real G36 ain't made of metal.
