i have never seen one in person, and from every pic, they seem a bit cheap quality. also, if it were the cool thing, (being that it is one of the latest real weapons invented), wouldnt more people own them?

Army scrapped the XM8 project, and is still going with the M16 as their primary for their forces.

they scrapped the xm8 with something to do with the heat generated. it couldnt take the heat, and some other stuff...i dont really remember, my friends dad is out in iraq right now, he saw a few and shot them....he was back for like a month b4 he got deployed again.....he said they just wernt good enough.....

XM8 has been scraped for a while and it is cheap because AEX is having a sale. If you check other sites like redwolf they are still about 250 compared to AEX's 100
