Does anyone here own a maruzen gbb USP. I heard they were out of production awfully fast...reason is that I really want a good gbb USP in the future and I heard from lotsa other forums that the kjw ones break in the trigger and valve area. Can anyone help? I was thinking of the ksc socom, but its kinda unwieldy...anyone have opinions on that piece?

hey snoopy. Yeah that's true, if the maruzen one is outta production the replacement parts would be hard to find. I was just asking if anyone had experience with them to see if they were nice at all. I'll probably end up getting a kjw one since the trigger and o rings are easy to replace...unless some company wises up and starts making a gas usp other than just kjw...there are just too many glocks and berettas in the airsoft world right now. You know what would be cool? A gas bb FiveseveN...but I digress.

There's only one glock that I like...the 17's...I've seen/heard too many problems with the other versions of the glocks...nothing wrong with having a pistol that a lot of people have

I don't think there's a problem with having pistols that a lot of other people have, I just really like the looks of a usp. Thanks for all the info btw, I'll look into the 1911 series and the beretta's from western arms. Have you ever had a chance to test out the kjw glock27 w/metal slide. I was thinking about that. I definitely want to get a western arms sooner or later but the ones I've seen are so nice I would feel bad taking them to skirmish. I kinda want to get a beater gun first so that I can at least get out there an play with you guys as I'm really new to the sport.

I bought an USP and I think it was the Taiwan version.

The USP makes me want to mail excrement to the makers of that POS.

haha yeah you're probably talking about the kjw one. Everything I've read about them fit into two categories either

yeap...not fun to work on the USP's...even if I did find out what's wrong with it...I doubt that there are any replacement parts for broken/ worn out pieces on the frame...

I actually bought a KJW usp gbb, and the trigger broke after some light usage within 4 months. It's a pretty solid pistol (except for the trigger) and was pretty fun to use.
