All I care about is some kind of consistency. If the FPS rules are to be enforced it should be enforced at all games not just when someone remembers to bring a chrono. A game admin should be required to own and bring a chrono and not rely on someone else for one. While the games are open to all ages I think there should be some restrictions/rules besides FPS for snipers.

Which Jake if you read everyone's post like mine I stated the hosting admin or can be changed to the game hoster is required to have and bring out a chrono.

Actually the waiver of liability was originally intended for minors only. Since the words that come out of their mouths cannot be taken at face value. Like, "My mom said it was OK for me to come out and play". As anyone with common sense (which 99% of minors do not have) realize is that that does not hold up in a court of law.

Actually in court a verbal agreement has as much value as ink on paper. The main problem is that they may have said "My parents said it was OK" is that their parents didn't say that is was not "ok" to sue.

That a minor's word isn't valid in a court of law because they are minors and that their parents/legal guardians are the only one's with the legal and moral right to grant such privileges?

don't know if this is the plan, Erik, but maybe it'd be best to pick out some key issues that can actually be addressed rationally, proposing solutions and using the forum polls to vote on the issues. some complaints don't seem to have probable solutions, like people calling their own hits. I don't know how we'd go about taking care of that, seing as it usually involves pure suspicion and accusation.

Sniping is just a style of play. I have sniped whole fireteams down with a TM MP5PDW. The problem seems to be coming from people using hot guns and not being able to hit what they apparently ARE NOT aiming at.

the chrono idea doesnt work unless they also provide .2g bbs. at all the games where i've chronoed my guns, the admin didnt ask what kind of bbs or what weight i was using. for all they know, my guns could have been shooting .45g bbs and nobody would ever suspect a thing.

Yea Erin that is EXACTLY the problem with snipers....a bunch of noobs running around with 500+fps rifles....and people are getting hurt....Like the guy from redding last sunday...
