Lemme say this. I was at Best of the West SWAT Compition ( my dad's SWAT team took 1st place) and there was a EOTECH promoter ( along with BlackHawk, the creators of the 3-Point slings) and real tactial gear) who had a demo one that had taken a Solid shot to the front peice of glass. and still WORKED. Though the sight was weak ( nearly dead batterys), the dot was clear. Any EOTECH sights would easily survive a BB at Point-Blank. SOooo, its either wait a few weeks to save for a EO, or impuse buy and get a cheapy, cr@ppy peice of sh!t.
oh, bty....SWAT guys have some awesome, simple mods for Kimbers (Gilroy SWAT had kimbers with extended mags ) and AR-15s ( Milpedis {bad spelling} SWAT's Sharpshooter hit targets over 200 yards away with a killer AR-15...the thing was dailed in....)
its one of those things you don't really ask a Police officer is his Kimber has been customized for events, types of mags used, etc etc. It was learned though a conversation as one of the SWAT guys as we were watching the SharpShooter of the Gilroy team take his shot.
