I just got an AUG today, and it has a Guarder Silencer Adaptor on it that is keeping me from putting the original outter barrel back on. How in gods name do I take this off?

I see that you found the hex screw under the receiver.

i wonder if he turned it hard thinking man this must be on tight, and scraped his barrel up with that set screw. lol. I did that on my first gun.

Hope he didn't. If that Guarder Shortie adaptor is all messed up, I don't want it.

no its fine. My problem was I couldn't figure out how the gun disassembled, Didn't realize you had to realize the back button to do it.
