I don't remember them all, but the M14 was number 10, the AUG came in at the 7th spot, the M-16 was number 2... and drum roll please... number one spot was the Soviet AK-47 and derivatives.... They also had the german Sturmgewher 44, and FN FAL... and then some bolt action rifles...

STG44 was an important advancement as it really opened sub-machine guns because the M1 Thompson really wasnt that great and U.S Sergeants swapped the STG44 and their Thompson whenever they could find one. It was good. REALLY good.

ya the stg44 shot 7.92 rounds so it was not an amg BUT it was intended to replace them light machine guns and rifles, but obviously it didnt
