Unless your huge on the eyecandy.. trademarks.. etc.. a eotech is very much not essential.

well , i collect a lot , but l like to play aswell , what i meant was , are the easy to dial in and what not , to make accurate for airsoft , becuase i have bought red-dots and scopes , but can never get them to go far enough to be dialed in for my guns...

Unless you have the money and dedication to collecting.. it's not worth it. And I'm sure they are great for airsoft... precision and durability wise but not wallet wise.

EOtech holosights are best used within 50 yards of your target (the max engagement range of most AEGs).

Just dont get mad when a sniper puts a bb threw it, its happened before :)
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

Eotech's just like any other sighting system whether $25 or $1000 on airsoft or on real steel is only capable of performing as good as the user. It will neither make you a better shooter, operator or increase your skills. It is only a tool. Nevertheless 6mm plastic balls that weigh in at a quarter of a gram isn't the most aerodynamic projectile in the world.

used EOtechs retain much more of their value than replica optics. Plus, if nobody playing airsoft wants to buy it, somebody in the military, or some gun finatic will surely buy it. I guess my point is, an EOtech will be more of an investment than some cheaper red dot if you ever want out.

sure buy one, it wont make u any better of a player, your gun is gona be just as accurate without it. its all in the player.
