I purchased a TM Aug Civ about a month ago since then I have made some major upgrades to the gun. I have bought the RAS System, prometheus 650mm barrel all the gears are now systema, steel bushings 9.6v battery, spring guide, spring, ect. However, I am now experiencing feeding problems on semi the gun actually shoots approx 1 in 4 or 5 shots and the problem is about 1 in 2 or 3 on full auto. it is not feeding the bb into the barrel. Is this a common problem with the AUG and what can I do to fix the problem? I have heard that I should replace the nozzle and also that the barrel length may be the problem by causing backpressure to keep the nozzle from cycling fully. Also, it may be the magazine I am using TM high caps. Anyone have any other ideas or can confirm any of these as possible problems?
haha i had that happen to me when i first got mine... prob cuz i stripped it down to have a looksee at its innerds. My problem was i had dropped the little nubb that is pressed down into the hop rubber and the spring that goes around the barrel to keep it pressed backwards towards the nozel had been lost. Beyond that maybe you put the gearbox back together wrong and didn't properly hook up the nozzel to the tappet plate??
if its a new feed nozzel it may be the wrong length, also check the nub
I haven't replaced the nozzle that is the original TM part.
Check the feed tube alignment I would guess that the new barrel and rail system is making the hop unit align off center to the feed tube. The AUG has them seperated to allow for a more realistic takedown but with barrel mods it can get off center. Look down your feed tube with a flashlight and see if it is lined up OK, any little lip showing that is larger on one side is bad. And be sure to were eye protection if there is a battery in the gun. The feed tube can be a second barrel if there is no mag in place when the trigger is pulled. BB's or anything else in there will come out FAST! be carefull.
What would Brock do?

my friend had the exact same problem with a ca m15 after we took the reciver off and now i have the same problem too. he fixed it simpley by getting a new bucking... but you can buy them at aex for like 6 bucks i must do the same thing because mines shooting like that too i couldnt play at az today because of it T^T. if you talk to some one at aex and ask "my gun is shooting 2 or 3 bbs at once can you fix it?" they will definately say its the bucking...
"Who you choose to be around you lets you know who you are."
dude my aug had the same problem
Check your bucking and your feed nozzle. The bucking makes for strange syptoms- tokyo_marui tried out my aug in a game and it would double and triple feed bbs with sucky range- changed out the bucking, problem solved. These guns seem to be more sensitive to bucking issues. The feed nozzle can also get issues... cheap fix... Guarder makes one...
