I just go an order form china that included 4 X 3,700 rd bags of Excel BB's. They were supposed to be biodegradable. The bag dosen't seem to say that. Of course it is mostly written in Chinese or Japanese. Can anyone tell me if these are indeed biodegradable? Hopefully the link below will work. It should be a close up of the lable.

lol i have the same exact bb's too and I was wondering the same thing. The website i bought them from said they were biodegradible so I assume they are. Hope that helped

yeah after about 200 years of extreme heat and moisture

that picture is not the true biodegradeable bb's from excel.

I was just down at AEX tonight, there's a new bioBB comming to town! True bio!!

half way related. I was hearing about these grafite BB's? Just compressed graphite and if it jams in the weapon, the next bb just breaks that one and it loobs the gun! any truth about this?

I just notice that Airsplat has this listing for a new Bio BB comming in November. Good price. Have to wait to see if they are really round.

simple those are simply plastic bb's that are bio friendly. And not biodegradeable bb's. If a field requires bio bb's and you bring those then you're SOL. Excel makes another bag that says "TRUE BIODEGRADEABLE". However, even those aren't 100% biodegradeable.

graphit is an excelent lubricant. i've never heard of full graphint bbs, just graphite coated bbs for sniper rifles.

This is totally ironic!!!

Yes, but think about the relative size of the bbs themselves. A truly insignificant amount of CO and CO2 would be produced by the decomposition of these bbs. Other natural processes and even running your car produce millions of times more CO and CO2 than these BBs could ever produce. So don't worry about that.

Graphite BB's aren't made of graphite they are just graphite coated to add extra/lube. crush one with a pair of pliers, white plastic on the inside.

So most bio bb's arent truely bioderadable. They are bio-friendly? What makes a bb bio friendly if it doesnt degrade?

They may produce an insignificant amount of co2 individually. But they still add to the co2 levels, and multiplied over a course of a year in one location you can have a small mound. Now then multiply that by several 1000 sites all over the world and that in of itself can be a problem.

ok got it, saw that before but didnt get it for some reason. Hopefully somedayall the bbs will be durable but bio-degradable so that little white plastic balls dont cover the ground everywhere i shoot my gun

Technically in order for something to be biodegradeable an item would not only have to be decomposable but is "recycled" by mother nature.
