Well I mean I don;t have the paperwork from when I filed it, so I don;t even know my case number, Altho as long as I show up early i can talk to a clerk and get that number, although some people have been telling me i just need my name and ID.

Why small claims? Why not the labour bureau? The labour bureau usually sides with the employee. This seems to be a labour dispute. California labour laws are pretty specific and counties too have labour laws too.

Yeah Labor commission is the way to go, I filed that claim but I had to go to stockton, and unfortunately there was a cultural fair downtown that day and the free way was clogged from citrus heights all the way to stockton.

My advice: Don't show up totally drunk and attempt to solicit magazine subscriptions to the judge.

Still file your claim with the labor dept. He could end up loosing his business license due to this since there are others who have been short changed also. Which would serve him right.

For that, Labor Bureau or Small Claims will work either way. Labor Bureau would be better because they would slap fines and close his business as they go through his books. Small Claims just gets you money and hey just has to sign a check.

man.. i've worked for a couple tech companies just looking at his website i would say hes a dead beat. His products are crap, it doesnt even look like he could compete with anyone now, hes got like web hosting from 1997 going on there. heh.
