Hey everyone , I was looking at getting a maruzen type 96 , and i wanted to know what parts i need/should get for good accuracy / consistency/ range around 500-550 FPS.

u do realize that getting a new gun with a bigger spring will still be just as hard to pull back as that pimped out VSR u had right? cause ya...

tell me if im wrong but didnt u hav a vsr 10 and were sayin that u wernt able to pull it back at 450 fps. if so how do u think u will be able to pull this back. but if u r gunna get it the minimum u r gunna need is a stronger cylinder, a new piston, spring ( i have a 190 that brings it up to 520) but u could get more out of it with some other stuff.

I am not quite sure on the FPS , i am only guessing that the VSR was 450 , because that is what i was told (by another kid) ill take his word , but it seemed to be shooting considerably harder , and i could pull it back to an extent. but apparently there was something wrong with the cylinder (devilone tells me) and that is mostlikely the problem that i was having , thus i would like to try another sniper rifle.

let's see the logic here. You have a decent rifle that needs a new cylinder that at most will cost you about $100. Instead you want to spend over $500 on an aps-2 and upgrades.

the rifle is no longer in my possesion.
