The only reason to remove a fuse is to gain more space.

Keep it in.....if it wasn't for my fuse blowing my MP5 would have cost me a whole lot more to fix than it did........it's like the surge protector on a power strip....you don't always need it...but you're glad you had it when you do....

Personally, I have removed my fuse and it ended up melting my switch (the part inside of my gear box) and because of it, my gun is still down, waiting on a replacement part. So, do as you wish, but I highly recommend that you DO NOT remove your fuse.
