i thought it was a good movie beside the torture scene that was sorta wierd but besides that it was cool.

liked it as it had more action sequences than the other bond films, didnt like it bc there were no gadgets

ok lets all be honest... the chase scene at the begining was freakin amazing. I like the movie and i consider myself a huge bond buff. It was different and totally out of the mold from the other movies but this movies story is supposed to preceed the others so bond obviously won't be as suave. Bond was more human then super human spy in that when he fought it was like a real fight would go instead of one punch and you're out.

on the same note about bond being human this time, vesper is his one true love throughout the entire series. and supposedly, she will be the only bond girl who will make a second appearance. shes supposed to leave a recording for bond in the next movie. sounds good.

its a remake...flat out, a remake. Casino Royal (made with Woody Allen) was better, though it was comedy, I prefer the original. And this new Bond sucks, he is not Bond material, but is better than Pierce was, thats for sure.

its not a remake... the first was a satire on the new series of spy movies coming out at the time, you can't exactly remake a satire as an action movie :p its like comparing the spy who loved me to the spy who shagged me. Not to mention that Casino Royal was the very first book by Ian Flemming in the series. This story was actually based on what Ian Flemming wrote as opposed to any bond movie after the living daylights (excluding A View to a Kill which was before the living daylights but not an Ian Flemming story).

In my opinion Daniel Craig is the man if you liked him as bond, you will love him in as Mr. X in Layer Cake which is one kick ass movie.

i would not not want to be the cop who has to chase him one day...then again, if i saw him doing that and I was chasing him, i'd just shoot him

Connery for now but I think Craig brings some real darkness to the character that i like, we will see, just have to wait for the next few bond films. by the way Craig got hired for the next bond film after that one I think we can pass judgement on how good of a bond he really is.

As far as any real bond fan should be concerned Sean Connery IS james bond, the original, the longest running, the best. :D

damn Bond should have run her over and kept that nice Astin Martin

Maybe I was the only one thinking, there is no way in hell that kind of car would flip like that. For some reason his particular Aston Martin had the center of mass of a 4X4 pickup. Oh, and that car, that Vanqiush S, sexiest sounding import. Period. I you havent heard one full throttle, your missing.
