I was watching Leno last night and he had an all military audience... each branch had its own section, Army, USMC, Airforce, Coast Guard.... and the Navy. All well and good BUT the great part was that the only person there representing the Navy was one woman. Apparently they had held the taping of the show for a while to wait for the navy to show up but decided they couldn't wait anymore... Navy was stuck in Traffic. How hilariously ironic is that?

figures... i could say some bad things but would still like to hold a reasonable level of respect for the navy, being the lazy ass that i am lo

i would have put the AF one, but i forget what it was....it might be because my parents are both former AF and their genetics hold some memory block on anything negative towards the AF....hmmm...cause I can't think of a single joke that makes fun of the AF...mostly jokes about the army, but thats cause i hate the army...

dude im sorry but you need to stop bashing the armed forces, they are out there day and night protecting our rights, yea they may have there faults, but they still do more for our country than your ass

well my point was that everyone makes fun of the navy for being late and then here they are late :p (reference the USMC answering machine audio joke).

Alright, today I borrowed my moms car (cause my current car is now labeled totaled and on its way to be scrapped), went to Travis and talked to the legal department there (didn't realize they had such a small office or do they have a main one as well?) about what I can do about having $385 racked up on my cell phone bill because a recruiting office continues to call me, they said I had a case but I needed to go to the recruiting office where I get the calls and talk to them. I took my uncle who is a claims court lawyer, along with my cell phone bills from the last 2 years. Went to the Army recruiter office, first thing he said was "Are you looking to join the Army today?", I turned to him and said "Nope, I'm here to get money or take you to court for $385"

Mike, that is too friggin funny!!! When I was told as a recruiter if we got three "i'm not interested" to give up!!! i like your way!! course if you know HALF the pay problems I'm seeing in the Army, don't hold your breath for that money anytime soon!!

I kinda have already figured it would take a while for the government to send me my check cause I didn't get my 2005 Tax Return (the taxes we filed this year) until like August or September...Its no biggy to me if I have to wait a while, but as long as they don't call. AND GUESS WHAT! THEY HAVENT CALLED YET TODAY! *knocks on wood*
