Forget the highspeed gears, all you need is that systema Turbo motor and a 9.6v battery!

if your ona budget id get the sytema high speed magnum motor long version it hsould majorly boost your rof, if your not on a budget get high speed gears to.
Nov 27, 2006 5:33am
where can i get this motor from systema? aex? or uncompany?
Your name means nothing on the battlefield....
Nov 27, 2006 5:34am
aex has been out of motor latly i would try atlanta, airsplat, unless your gona bulk order i wouldnt get it from japan, not worth it in shipping
Nov 27, 2006 5:36am
would a super torque up motor do the trick? or do i need a high speed one...

hes already got the battery, a sp110 is fine for spring size i dont see how removeing a tooth from the gears will increase rof, that wont change how fast the gears spin, the teeth affect how far the piston will go back.
Nov 27, 2006 5:51am
LOL.... If you dont see how removing the tooth from the gear will help his rate of fire, open up your gearbox and look REAL closely...it may come to you...if not call andrew in the morning...

If a sector gear has approx. 16 teeth every tooth removed will offer a 7% decrease in the time in which the piston is realeased so the benifits are there...(my mathimatical skills are basic so dont be harsh)

ok i just got off the phone with andrew i now understand what u ment in the rof increase less tension on the gear means they will spin slightly faster between piston pulls, in the i dont recmond it remebr gears are designed the way they are for a reason, but i am going to try this trick in a few days i want to see the results, so as of now i stand corrected on my not increasing rof statment i still dont think its wise but im sgona try it on some spare gears i have.

THANK YOU EXPERIANCED AIRSOFTERS, i dont want to remove a tooth from my sector gear because to tell you the truth i suck at custom work and could f uck up and probably loose the whole gear and just watch in dismay as the gear is chewed up by my big as grinder, so i will go get a new motor and install it, also i was going to ask was how do you align the motor to the gear? like ive just been putting them in there and its been fine, like i havent had any problem. is there like a unoticable change? like in fps? or will it screw with my gears in the long run?
