it's CA, it could be having compression problems. i had fps problems with my m15ris for a long time before for it calmed down and started working right.

all the work was done bye oneshotkiller on here. imma call him today and talk to him about the gun.
Yeah. . . how much would it cost to re-wire it to the front? And if i use the peq can i use my same battery i have? i really like it because it lasts a long time and it has a pretty high ROF.

lol. my first aeg and i dont trust myself to do that. . . . so what could the problem be with the compression? i know that ca parts do have probs with that but those have all been replaced with area1000 parts. . . and i'm using .20's. hmmmm :?
i got this from airsoftgi.com
it doesnt shoot above 400fps cause its got a no bore cylinder

Description: Upgrade your a.e.g.'s fps to around 380 to 410fps. You will need to change the plastic bushings to metal bushings with this upgrade

yeah actually i forgot you had everything upgraded...the CA compression problems should be gone...

its a 9.6v 3600 mah, so it can fit it. i looked it up. How do i open the gun? I'm sorry i sound like a total noob but its my first time opening it. And yeah, i believe its the no bore cylinder. is it easy to re-wire the gun?
i don't think rewiring is that hard, there are prolly tutorials all over the place or you can ask someone to guide you through it. i personally haven't done it though.

If you are going to take it apart make sure someone that knows how to take it apart is there, its not hard BUT if you dont know what you are doing then it is confusing. Rewiring it will only cost you about 5-10 dollars plus you will need a soldering iron. Ok, i have come to the conclusion that in order for a no bore cylinder to work correctly you need to have a barrel length of 455mm or longer(or a m130 spring or higher), the barrel in an m4 is 363mm, its better to put a single slotted cylinder in it, and by doing so you should be shooting 415-420(assuming that the compression is good, sring is not worn out, and there are no leaks in the hop-up). Hope this helps you.......

well, besides rewiring the gun, i'm happy with the fps. I want it at or right below 400 and thats what its at right now. so i dont mind anything but the wire. Imma take it to aex and have them do it, and then buy the peq box from CA. Thanks for all your guys help. I appreciate it a lot.

wow lol. you sure seem to know a lot. Let him know that i really appreciate the gun and that it rocks, and i love the paintjob. J/w though wupjak. . . did he use a battery bag? and how long will the cylinder and piston last with the large 9.6v 3600 mah?
Believe he did use a battery bag, yes.
actually, it has a purpose with the target scope on it. i dont need a front site for the scope. i like it on the carry handle because then i dont need to smash my face into the stock to look through it. so in reality it has a purpose
see i disagree, i liked it when it was off the carry handle, i thought it was more functional and looked better too, but its your gun and im not gonna tell you to change it anymore
so wupjak, should i look into a metal piston? j/w.
i think it looks cooler with the carry handle. and i dont see how it would make it more functional? if its sighted exactly where the bb is shooting then it wouldnt matter how high or low it is.
so wupjak, should i look into a metal piston? j/w.
the reason i say the current setup is un-functional is because you have a rear iron sight (on your carry handle) but no front iron sight. in order for iron sights to work you obviously need to have both to make a line. so basically your gun only has half an iron sight which is useless. thus what i would do is put the front sight back on. it'll make the gun look more balanced. or you can get rid of the carry handle and just get a riser mount so that you have enough scope clearance.

If he leaves the scope on and adds a front sight he wont be able to use the iron sights anyways...His scope mount happens to have a rear sight attatched...
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?
yeah thats basically it. i have an m16 scope imma put on it, i just gotta callibrate it. I really want that thing rewired though. . . do you know why he didnt just use a peq wupjak? and what would you guess the ROF is at? Sorry, a lot of questions, im just excited because its my first aeg.
