car insurace issues.....

so i figure if i ever had any questions that i would ask my faithful sacair family, because one of you Mentally Challenged people has a vague idea. (lol i know not all of you are challenged, but those of you know who you are....)

read your policy! Get the long form and go over every inch of it and have a good working knowledge of it. If you do not understand then get somebody that does. This way you know what they can and can't do. that policy is a contract so you should know what is in it since you sighned it.

well the thing is that i am still living at home, and on my parents policy, but im still 18, so i t was never offered for me to read, but i will try to do that. we are going to have the car towed down to sacramento so we can get a second repair estimate. as of now its in reno. still not sure why because i wrecked on this side of the summit comming down hw 80

your insurance company is going to do whats cheaper for them...period. There is nothing you can do to make them give you 14k..Even if they totaled it they would give you replacement value so at best look for another comparable jeep for sale in autotrader...thats what they would pay you IF they totaled it which it looks like they wont...

Im the opposite 25, and havnt had a moving violation in years...2006 tundra and 1998 Tahoe 4x4 lifted...$86.00 a month FULL Coverage for both... :lol: Its only gonna drop more cause I sold my Tahoe and I am about to put my 71 Datsun on there...

I just totaled my car 11/28/06. It was labeled TOTALED this tuesday. This is what Allstate considers totaled: Value of the car compared to the damage done.
