So what are we supposed to do about the million dollar robots we build to find them??? But thats good, buy a $5 can of silly string and save a dozen lives, heck ya! I wanna know what soldier was bored enough to figure that silly string would save their lives. Good old American innovation right there.

Those million dollar robots aren't for finding trip wires they're for finding and defusing mines and IEDs. The silly string is to identify trip wires like you'd have on a claymore or something with a wire going across a doorway

Oh, I thought the robots were also used to help clear buildings as well. But the silly string thing is still pretty kewl and cheap. its better than walking into a building and going "crap, tripped another one sarge"
