hmmm it has some good points i for one hate the media, not liberal media, not consevative media i hate any media that exspress opionion. the medias job is to tell the facts in a non partisan way yet somehow some jack ass decied to f uck it all up and have a thought on the matter. Oh well.

Isn't it kind of hard to voice anything without some sort of bias? I mean we're all human and inherrantly have our own opinions and unconsciously voice them no matter what. I mean unbiased news would be great, but impossible.

I will take the bland and truthful facts over the high-speed lies and misinformation fed to us everyday. I want to hear the truth...the whole truth. ANd not always about the bad, I want to hear the good. I wanna know the good thats actually happening over in Afghanistan and Iraq. It can't all be body counts and bad news. A friend of mine that was stationed over in Iraq said that the Iraqi people weren't against him or the other american soldiers, they actually supported them and even assisted them when they could.

So the high mark is set by BBC I guess right? Little known facts:

i totally agree with that first article thingy posted. all the media wants to cover are the bad things that have happened. They always cover the downside. What about the people like the marine in the article. What about all the good things we've done. I dunno. I dont like the media too much.
Dec 9, 2006 6:41am
eh ryan BBC is damn biased, example offhand is they sent a memo out right after we ousted Saddam telling their reporters not to call him a Deposed Dictator but rather Former President. Heaven forbid there be a negative connotation about the guy by labeling him what he is.

errrr i totally mistyped that, what i was trying to say was watch the bbc 20 years ago they were a model of how unbiased news SHOULD be, but in recent years they have gone down hill to a more uber liberal source of broadcasting.

I'll give it to you that media back then was a lot less biased.

I have nothing against religion. I really dont. I'm a protestant, but my whole thing is that seperation of church and state was created for a reason. I believe that politics and god should be seperated at all times when it comes to making political decisions. Making comments like "god wanted me to do it" is something a monarch would say, because a monarch is appointed by god (or the church). Just my opinion.
